Synopsis
During the war in a city under the siege a platoon in charge of dirty jobs, the Blacks, has to be dismembered due to the truce signing. The commander of the platoon, Ivo, prepares the action of recovering his three soldiers' bodies from the woods, and while at it he wants to blow up a dam to cause damage to the enemy, despite the truce. Surviving soldiers, Darko, Barišiæ, Franjo and Šaran, tortured by their own guilt and doubts, go on the assignment only to find the enemy where they least expected it – in themselves.

Directors Biography
Zvonimir Juriæ was born in Osijek in 1971. He graduated film and TV directing from the Academy of Drama Art in Zagreb in 1999. His directing career begins with the award winning documentaries ‘Sky over Osijek’ (Oktavijan award and Days of Croatian Film award), ‘Juriæ: Tvrða 1999’ and ‘The Blacks Endured, and Me?’. His first feature film is ‘The One Who Will Remain Unnoticed’ (Award Breza for the best debut on Pula Film Festival), followed by the second part of the omnibus ‘Sex, Booze and Short Fuse’ and ‘Yellow Moon’, a part of the omnibus ‘Zagreb Stories’.
Goran Deviæ was born i Sisak in 1971. He graduated film and TV directing from the Academy of Drama Art in Zagreb where he works as an art assistant. He has made documentaries ‘Imported Craws’(awarded on about twenty festivals), ‘I Have Nothing Nice to Tell You’, ‘3’ and ‘Happy Land’. He is the founder and producer of the production house Petnaesta Umjetnost. ‘The Blacks’, which he wrote and directed with Zvonimir Juriæ, is his feature film debut.
