Synopsis
It almost sounds like fiction: tough young men who drive fast cars and hold fighting matches to the death between aggressive goldfish. There's lots of money, booze and drugs wrapped up in it, and not even the pretty ladies (rented for the occasion?) are missing from this exciting ritual. It seems less about the fish than the atmosphere surrounding them: an exclusive group of Mafia-like youngsters with flashy cars, expensive threads and loads of cash in their pockets. With great lighting that's rich in contrast, short takes, gripping music, and disorienting, close camera angles, 'Glass Trap' makes you think of a 'Godfather' spinoff, and that was probably the intention of young director Pawel Ferdek.
