According to Brasilian media, acclaimed director Jose Padilha will direct a sequel to his multi-awarded feature film 'Elite Squad' which was screened during the 6th ZFF's closing ceremony. Padilha and Braulio Mantovani are wrapping up the script and Wagner Moura recently confirmed his second appearence as a lead character, captain Nascimento. The shooting will start next January. Until then, Padilha will have plenty of work to finish. He just started promoting his new documentary 'Garapa' about impoverished families in Brasil and also commenced work on his next project, feature film based on a Robert Ludlum book 'Sigma Protocol'.
