At 4 pm in the Press Centre (Sc gallery) a lecture called Media - a lecture on film festivals will be held, hosting Marijke de Valck, assistant at the Amsterdam University and film festivals expert. At 6 pm at the Tuškanac cinema 'Brave Producers' Mike Downey and Sam Taylor (F&ME) will have an interactive discussion on the ways in which they produced some of their 40 films. Using specific examples, they will explain the process of filmmaking - from the idea, selection of a screenwriter and director up to financing. The audience will be able to join the conversation and make conclusions, together with the lecturers, on whether producers working in this part of the world are considered to be people doing a noble job.
